Collection: Housewares

At The Tuesdee House, we don’t believe in "leftovers." We believe in legacy. Our signature Tessellate Boards are the final, exquisite chapter in the life of our site-milled timber.

A Mosaic of the Lowcountry

When the large-scale furniture commissions are complete, we are left with the most character-rich remnants of oak, hickory, and pine. Rather than losing this history to the hearth, Ricky McMakin hand-cuts and hand-lays these slivers into interlocking masterpieces.

The Palette of the Land

Every board is a unique composition of the estate’s natural tones. You’ll see the rich, cured umber of a tobacco leaf, the creamy gold of sun-drenched fields, and the stark, weathered grey of the riverbank. These aren't just serving pieces; they are hand-fit puzzles that highlight the grit and grace of the wood, ensuring that every 70-year-old tree finds a Soft Landing on your table.
